fwiw the reason I hadn't removed this already was because it wasn't clear to me if this package required a source upload in order to be buildable, or if it would be fixed by the upload of some other package currently missing from Debian (rust-terminfo?), and if the latter, how we would track that to make sure rust-alacritty-terminal would be brought back in.
Looking at the Debian bug, it build-depends not only on the nonexistent rust-terminfo but also on rust-vte-0.8 - which is newer than the version in impish, and newer than the version in Debian unstable, so this build- dependency will never be satisfied. That's sufficient justification for me to remove this package, it will need a subsequent source upload in Debian to resolve. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1946008 Title: Please remove rust-alacritty-terminal from impish To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rust-alacritty-terminal/+bug/1946008/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
