Time has passed and I guess the decision was made by inactivity.
We really should remove this for 22.04.

The same happened in Debian:
- not maintained/integrated
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=898194
- finally removed https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=839082

Therefore I'm converting this into a RM bug for the AAs to consider.

** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #898194
   https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=898194

** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #839082
   https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=839082

** Summary changed:

- add netplan support or RM package from archive
+ [RM] netcf from 22.04

** Description changed:

+ 2021 update - make this a removal
+
+ Please remove netcf from the Archive:
+ - It is rather unmaintained
+ - It has not reverse dependencies anymore
+ - It has open bugs like
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/netcf/+bug/1764314
+ - Was removed dfrom Debian for the same reasons
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=839082
+
+ ------ original entry -------
+
Netcf should be able to handle netplan (src:nplan) instead of ifupdown
  on Debian:

  src/drv_debian.c
