Thanks @arighi Having the ISO updated is just for other people's user experience. If they try and appears a black screen and then it reboots.. they may go back to Windows. I don't know how difficult is to show an error message (like the one that appears in recovery mode but without previous verbose) in those cases recommending to try other version.
In my case, I deal with the problem working with 20.04 with 5.13.0-1010-oem kernel (the only drawback is that Virtualbox is not compatible, so I have to wait till the fixed kernel is supported by them). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1945590 Title: Thinkpad E14 Gen2: Kernel panic with trackpad and trackpoint enabled To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1945590/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
