For me, this happens systematically after waking up from suspend (and I need to suspend my desktop computer because of energy consumption)
Same "Service took too long to respond. Disconnecting client." when doing an apt update or zsys-gc.service. Restarting zsysd.service and zsysd.socket doesn't restore normal behavior.
