Is there an official solution to this problem, meanwhile? I ran into the same problem, but even after reinstalling python3-six, python3-certifi, python3-requests, python3-idna, and python3-urllib3 I still can't start software-properties-gtk, getting the message that the name 'requests_unixsocket' is not defined.
