Public bug reported: On Ubuntu 7.04, my Realtek 8185-based card was not recognized at all, and I had to use ndiswrapper with the net8185.inf driver to have it work. In Ubuntu 7.10, I had to do the same, except I needed to add "sudo ifconfig wlan0 up" for it to work.
On hardy alpha 2, _nothing_ works. The card now fails to even get a logical adress, so ifconfig <adress> up fails. I completely have no internet on hardy... If there's any output from commands I can provide, I gladly will. Really hope this gets fixed before release. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [regression] ndiswrapper fails in hardy for belkin F5D7010 v7 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/178684 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
