Norbert, Could you also provide which open-iscsi version you are using? I was checking the difference between open-iscsi in bionic and focal and the upstream version is the same but some patches were applied. For instance, this is one bug reported by one Orable Cloud user which was fixed in bionic version 2.0.874-5ubuntu2.9:
