Two points:
1. I don't understand why this is marked as a dupe of 30842, since this
bug has nothing to do with trying to empty the trash. Maybe both bugs
have the same cause, but it's not at all obvious why this is necessarily
true.
2. Closing and restarting KDE clears this bug. So I wonder what
background KDE process is responsible for performing the "move to trash"
function; this bug has the feel of a necessary background KDE process
having died and not auto-restarted.
