All currently supported versions of Ubuntu have sane-backends 1.0.27 or
later.
If this issue still occurs with a Pixma MX7600, please change the status
of this bug back.
For any device except a Pixma MX7600 that currently shows a similar
issue, please open a separate bug. Do not comment on this one.
