Thanks for your heads up! Since it's a package in Ubuntu's main, the translations are stripped when building. They should also have been imported by Launchpad's translation feature, but weren't since nobody had created a fcitx5-mozc translation template.
That part has been fixed now: https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/jammy/+source/mozc/+pots/fcitx5-mozc The translations will be seen by the jammy users after next update of Ubuntu's language packs. They will be installed under /usr/share/locale- langpack . ** Changed in: mozc (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: mozc (Ubuntu) Status: New => In Progress ** Changed in: mozc (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Gunnar Hjalmarsson (gunnarhj) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1966820 Title: Missing translation data file in fcitx5-mozc To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mozc/+bug/1966820/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
