Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
Bug reporting is about finding & fixing problems thus preventing future users from hitting the same bug. I suspect a Support site would be more appropriate, eg. https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu. You can also find help with your problem in the support forum of your local Ubuntu community http://loco.ubuntu.com/ or asking at https://askubuntu.com or https://ubuntuforums.org, or for more support options please look at https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/community-support/709 (example of a question/answer maybe https://askubuntu.com/questions/1273421/lubuntu-installer-giving-error- after-partition-creation-your-system-may-or-may) For specific Lubuntu support you can use their forum/discourse (https://discourse.lubuntu.me/), or https://lubuntu.me/links/ for other links. ESP is a shortened way of writing EFI System partition. Lubuntu uses the `calamares` installer; and that is the message chosen by the Calamares team to refer to that flag given it's official name (where I suspect a clear consise english message wouldn't allow for the correct [definition] keywords to be used). If you believe it's a bug that needs correction; I'll suggest you file it upstream at https://github.com/calamares/calamares/issues When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu- bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1967004 Title: Manual partitioning requires "esp" flag on /boot/efi partition, but that flag isn't offered as an option, and the "boot" flag mysterious makes the warning go away To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/calamares/+bug/1967004/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
