Public bug reported: xdg-desktop-portal-gnome 42 uses libadwaita. It uses the libadwaita style with blue buttons & different grays. It doesn't respect the Ubuntu default themes coloring.
This is the only "app" in the default Ubuntu 22.04 LTS install that uses libadwaita. (And there are only 2 or 3 apps in universe that do.) The easiest way to handle this is to revert the commits that switched xdg-desktop-portal-gnome to libadwaita. Note that you'll probably need to log out and log back in after installing the update to see the changes. ** Affects: xdg-desktop-portal-gnome (Ubuntu) Importance: Low Assignee: Jeremy Bicha (jbicha) Status: Triaged ** Affects: xdg-desktop-portal-gnome (Ubuntu Jammy) Importance: Low Assignee: Jeremy Bicha (jbicha) Status: Triaged ** Tags: jammy ** Also affects: xdg-desktop-portal-gnome (Ubuntu Jammy) Importance: Low Assignee: Jeremy Bicha (jbicha) Status: Triaged -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1967777 Title: xdg-desktop-portal-gnome uses libadwaita & doesn't respect Ubuntu default themes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xdg-desktop-portal-gnome/+bug/1967777/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
