Public bug reported:

After installing Ubuntu 22.04 today (using the iso built on 19th of
April 2022), I can not start chrome:

This is the error:

$ /opt/google/chrome/chrome
MESA-LOADER: failed to retrieve device information
MESA-LOADER: failed to open nvidia-drm: /usr/lib/dri/nvidia-drm_dri.so: cannot
open shared object file: Permission denied (search paths

I am running an Nvidia 3080 card and I have added this file in order to
get Wayland working:

$ cat /etc/modprobe.d/nvidia-power-management.conf
options nvidia NVreg_PreserveVideoMemoryAllocations=1

Brave outputs the same thing. Chrome was installed from downloaded .deb
file.
