I noticed this too, somewhat annoying when trying to minimise listening services. Marcin, I have managed to work around this issue with the following command:
sudo unlink /etc/systemd/user/gnome-session.target.wants/gnome-remote- desktop.service Now when enabling/disabling the remote desktop service a symlink is instead created/removed at ~/.config/systemd/user/gnome-session.target.wants/gnome-remote- desktop.service and as such the user's on/off preference is respected. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1970039 Title: cannot disable Remote Desktop in Ubuntu 22.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-remote-desktop/+bug/1970039/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
