Well, then the hope to find a simple explanation from tweak 3 was an illusion. I am staring at the /boot/grub/grub.cfg of ubuntu-22.04-desktop-amd64.iso and compare it with Chris Guiver's comment #90: >...> "00:10 secs enter pressed at grub >...> BLINKING CURSOR without change until >...> 7:19 (7 mins 19 secs) first boot message So i assume that /boot/grub/grub.cfg was executed. But then would last very long to get from linux /casper/vmlinuz file=/cdrom/preseed/ubuntu.seed maybe-ubiquity quiet splash --- initrd /casper/initrd to a usable system. Do i look at the wrong ISO ? (I could not find Ubuntu "live" ISOs in the web.)
