Thanks for the bug report. Please:

1. Open the Extensions app and ensure only the three Ubuntu extensions
are enabled. No others.

2. Remove any locally-installed extensions:

   cd ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/
   rm -rf extensions

   and log in again.

3. Check to see if you have anything constantly changing on the screen.
Make sure you don't have any performance indicators/graphs running, or
web browsers open, when the problem occurs.
