Same experience as above since update to 4.15.0-177 on Ubuntu 18.04.6 a couple of days ago. Running Asus UA430 w/ 8GB Ram and Intel I5. Pressing F2 revealed excessive boot time seems related to UFW. Takes about 3 min to process UFW - receive numerous stream of message "Start job running Uncomplicated Firewall...." Several of these followed by several other processes finishing with OK, then more uncomplicated firewall messages. Total UFW process time 3 minutes. Eventually displays Login Screen. Reverting back to 4.15.0-176 resolves the problem. First time I have ever had any problem with Ubuntu.
