Open-vm-tools 12.0.5 was released on May 24, 2022.

There are no new features or significant changes in the open-vm-tools
12.0.5 release. This is primarily a maintenance release that contains
fixes for two potential FTBFS issues.

It contains a known problem - a potential FTBFS for 32-bit
architectures.   A pointer to an available fix in the "devel" branch is
provided in the Known Problems" section of the Release Notes.
