Viaken, I am running 2.6.22-14-generic #1 currently and still have the problem. Our laptops use the same chipset, in fact, they are almost identical (running MX3414). I just tested again to make sure last night, and the problem still applies as soon as I join a WEP network. Are you still running WPA with WPAsupplicant installed? Maybe that is the difference.
