What was expected:
An image to be displayed on the screen of the laptop free from corruption.

What happened instead:
When booting using the specified kernel, the screen displays a corrupted image. 
A photo of the corruption has been attached. The photo of the corruption is of 
the laptop running a different distro (Fedora) but the behavior is identical 
and is common across many distros.
This display corruption was not present when using linux-image-6.6.0-14-generic.
