Hello, This is an old issue but it still happens today and this is a big issue as Ubuntu (and derivates like Kubuntu, Mint or Zorin) are often a recommendation for beginners.
According to different tests made on GLF side (thanks Cammi), it seems it occurs everytime with this schema: 1. You have at least two nvme plugged. 2. nvme0 already have another OS (in our case, a linux one) 3. installation of Ubuntu (or derivates) on nvme1 with automatic partitioning. Screen 1glf 4. Result: Ubuntu modify EFI partition on nvme0 and filesystems are on nvme1 - Screens 2glf to 6glf I hope this can help to find the cause of this and resolve it in the future. ** Attachment added: "1glf.jpg" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1396379/+attachment/5760730/+files/1glf.jpg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1396379 Title: installer uses first EFI system partition found even when directed otherwise To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub-efi-amd64-signed/+bug/1396379/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
