Thanks for your reply Pawel, I think all of these issues have been
reported elsewhere so have been known for some time, may be even before
the release of Ubuntu 24.04 on April 25th.
As you've installed another distribution I'm going to close this as
being an invalid report as you're seeing several problems with the new
release which should be reported seperately. That is not to say your
issues are not valid but they are covered elsewhere and will no doubt be
fixed in due course. I think you'll find them under the gnome-shell,
mutter and yaru-theme packages.
