Good luck with that. They purposely removed the Nvidia 390 driver during the previous Ubuntu (23.10) cycle: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics- drivers-390/+bug/2035189/
I've tried packaging 390 for Noble, but it seems broken. The package installs correctly and builds the kernel modules, but XServer won't start. Another person also has a PPA with 390 noble package that does the same thing https://launchpad.net/~dtl131/+archive/ubuntu/nv390test https://launchpad.net/~kelebek333/+archive/ubuntu/nvidia-legacy -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2064953 Title: [needs-packaging] [needs-upgrade] nvidia-graphics-drivers-390 to version 390.157 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-390/+bug/2064953/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
