Public bug reported:

I symlink fonts into /etc/local/share/fonts (using homebrew fonts to
automate installation). These fonts are visible in other apps, and
Libreoffice installed via APT, fontconfig can list them and the Fonts
app lists them in its list. Yet Libreoffice Snap cannot see them, it is
as if they are not installed. Removing symlinks and copying the fonts,
running fc-cache and restarting Libreoffice Snap and they are seen.

It would be great if symlinked fonts were followed.

** Affects: libreoffice (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Tags: packaging snap
