Public bug reported:

I'm a bloody beginner with linux, choosed mint and was quite a time happy.
I realise, that with nearly every new kernel soundcard is forgotten and dummy
output comes.
Some time passes and soundcard is found again...

I appreciate using linux, my t420 with linux starts nearly 2 seconds
faster than my dell with 8th generation intel and win 11, but the sound
problem sucks a lot.

Seems I'm not the only one and it is a problem of the intel card with
linux and someone finds a durable fix.

Greetings from sunny Tübingen, germany

Norbert
