Public bug reported:

I ran "sudo apt install diffuse" and expected diffuse to be installed and 
working.
However, diffuse was installed but not working.

When running diffuse from command-line, I noticed it was missing "distutils".
Manual installation of python3-distutils-extra solved the problem.
Hopefully someone can make it so this package is included as a requirement in 
the diffuse package.
