Doing the "quick solution" in comment #5 is a very bad idea - especially
if you are running into the issue when using a ppa for updated graphics
drivers. It will cause anything that is linking to llvm-18 to fail to
run, and if that includes the graphics drivers that will include causing
a boot failure.

If you want to "work around" it you have to also put it back again
afterwards while keeping the i386 version around and fixing the symlink
that is supposed to point to it so it actually works as intended.
