Public bug reported: [ Impact ] webkit2gtk does not ask for the PIN on a PIN protected smartcard.
There is an upstream fix at https://github.com/WebKit/WebKit/pull/26074 [ Test Plan ] The test plan is manual due to the nature of the bug needing hardware that is difficult to simulate. An E2E test of using the smartcard with a PIN on it will be performed. [ Where problems could occur ] * Adds an extra check every time a smartcard is used. Although likely nominal, it does add computation time. * This is both a bug fix, but also a functional addition.
