Im seeing screen tearing occasionally using an i915 graphics device on a
stock install on Ubuntu 24.04
Seems to coincide with the following outputs:
i915 0000:00:02.0: [drm] *ERROR* Atomic update failure on pipe A (start=150495
end=150496) time 333 us, min 1073, max 1079, scanline start 1065, end 10857
i915 0000:00:02.0: [drm] *ERROR* CPU pipe A FIFO underrun
Not much to go on sadly (apologies).
Note that this was also a problem on 22.04 but appears to have been
resolved. This appears to be a regression therefore
