False alarm?

My freezes with nouveau are just the typical nouveau repeatedly crashing
in the kernel:

While I get the same crash with both old and new Nvidia cards, other
kernel log messages are suggesting it's an AMD-specific issue. So I'll
change to an Intel system and retest the same cards...
