I also confirm I am unable to reproduce the issue with the latest updates from proposed repository.
Release: Noble Numbat Package version: - gnome-shell_46.0-0ubuntu6~24.04.1_amd64.deb - gnome-shell-common_46.0-0ubuntu6~24.04.1_all.deb Steps to recreate: On Noble Numbat, I re-enabled legacy tray icons and I was able to recreate the issue. I then enbled the proposed repository and installed gnome-shell from it. Rebooted and after logging in I was unable to recreate the issue. I no longer see black rectangles when switching virtual desktops, and nothing is stealing mouse clicks any longer. I would like to thank everyone involved troubleshooting, fixing, and backporting patches to Noble Numbat. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2012388 Title: X11 window (usually AnyDesk) at top-right of the screen is invisible and steals mouse clicks To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-shell/+bug/2012388/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
