Public bug reported: [Impact]
Studio builds are failing, because they try to install v4l2loopback-dkms which is deprecated and actually no longer seeded by studio. Since livecd-rootfs installs packages via tasks, not seeds directly, the package is still being pulled in and fails to build with latest kernels. We need this fixed for 22.04.5. [Test Case] Make sure studio images build again. [Regression Potential] Only build failure. ** Affects: livecd-rootfs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Invalid ** Affects: livecd-rootfs (Ubuntu Jammy) Importance: Critical Assignee: Łukasz Zemczak (sil2100) Status: Fix Committed ** Tags: verification-needed verification-needed-jammy ** Also affects: livecd-rootfs (Ubuntu Jammy) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: livecd-rootfs (Ubuntu Jammy) Importance: Undecided => Critical ** Changed in: livecd-rootfs (Ubuntu Jammy) Assignee: (unassigned) => Łukasz Zemczak (sil2100) ** Changed in: livecd-rootfs (Ubuntu Jammy) Status: New => In Progress ** Changed in: livecd-rootfs (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2079803 Title: ubuntustudio jammy images fail to build due to v4l2loopback-dkms To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/livecd-rootfs/+bug/2079803/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
