I installed 1:24.04.9 from noble-proposed and clicked on the selection tick markers to toggle them on and off repeatedly. I had 5-6 updates in the list, one from a PPA. One was in a group, so I tested both clicking the group tick marker and the package tick marker. I also clicked multiple times quickly on the markers, since timing seemed to have a role in the previous buggy versions. I was not able to make it crash. With the previous versions it also didn't always crash immediately, but it would always crash with the amount of clicking I had performed in this test.
