I'm having much the same issues with my Sony WH-H900N headphones since
upgrading to 24.10. 24.04 worked like clockwork. Note I use Kubuntu.

dmesg, kernel says this during startup:
[ 7.703923] Bluetooth: hci0: Invalid link address type 1 for

Tailed journalctl, started the headphones and tried to connect, this is what
happened:

When it does finally connect it appears to change the LinkKey. This is
problematic for me because I dual boot with Windows and I need this to
be consistent between OSes. So I have to re-pair in Windows every time I
boot to Kubuntu now.
