The problem here is 1. The machine-readable string of one of the MediaType choices contains parentheses, probably this violates the PPD standard 2. CUPS, when convering the PPD file options into printer IPP attributes in order to share the printer as an emulation of a driverless IPP printer, does not remove the parentheses, which are also not allowed in IPP attribute names (1) is the actual root cause but we cannot fix the PPD supplied by your printer's manufacturer.
