Hello angros47, I spent some time researching this today. I'm not sure that it's related to the bug you mention. The commits in question for that bug are:
* 28ab9769117ca944cb6eb537af5599aa436287a4 - when the bug was introduced * fa0db8e568787c665384430eaf2221b299b85367 - when the above commit was reverted However, in searching through the Noble tree, I don't see either of those commits in the branch. I further examined the code to confirm that the line in question is as it should be, before the introduction of 28ab976, and it is. I looked through the attached apport output (thank you for that), but didn't see anything obviously broken. I see that you're currently at Noble (6.8 kernel). One possibility is upgrading to Oracular (6.11 kernel) to see if that remedies the issue. As for next steps, I will sync up with my team after the weekend to see if they have any suggestions on how to proceed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2091726 Title: S.M.A.R.T. data not available after the last kernel update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2091726/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
