Unfortunately my workaround only seems to work for the current session as the key gets invalidated by Thunderbird. Basically this means that I cannot encrypt any mails nor sign them - if that's the case I wonder how other users work with encrypted mails? Did they all flee from the snap version of Thunderbird?
