@cjwatson So just to be clear, if I've run into this issue on Ubuntu 24.04 with using python-pyvmomi (I'm trying to use the Vmware agent for Bareos backups) I believe given the info you just gave, I might be able to use this unstable version of python-pyvmomi on 24.04 to resolve the issue.
Guessing I would just pull down (clone) the repository here: https://salsa.debian.org/python-team/packages/python-pyvmomi Then build it as the instructions say to and cross my fingers. There are no other dependencies on python-pyvmomi other than Bareos, so provided it doesn't balk at using this "new" version of the module I should be ok. Will follow up with my results. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2065876 Title: module 'ssl' has no attribute 'wrap_socket' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/maas/+bug/2065876/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
