You may have a modem on your soundchip, but in general it is disabled by
default in bios if you do not have a modem port, which sometimes can be
optained from vendor as an assembly-option. Many sound controllers do
have additional (soft)-modem functionality for certain configurations.
In your setup, the modem part seems to be enabled by default. It should
not matter, but if you do not like errors on bootup you can blacklist
the module snd-via82xx-modem (or you should be able to disable the
modem-part in bios, what is only recommended, if you know what you are
doing).
