When I disable them and now remove the "quiet splash" it completes loading the resume data file 100%.
This is probably a different problem, but it won't suspend to disk when I'm using the nvidia restricted drivers. That's made it not fun trying to troubleshoot it. I'm going to try again and see what else I get after the loading of the data file.
