FWIW, I took the above autoinstall yaml (of the FCP/SCSI+multipath case) and modified it to use the correct multipath paths (means working around LP#2093352), and with that I was able to successfully complete an autoinstall, where the autoinstall yaml incl. the generated zdevs section, now also on FCP/SCSI (so with multipath)!
(I attached the modified autoinstall for further reference.)
