hi guys, if you people still have this issue (and you probably do, unless you bought another pc) I have news: there is a fix: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8896 in comment #127 and comment #128 (specifically #128 is the most important, the other can be emulated using acpi=force).
Now, the problem is you'll have to patch your kernel manually, because they're not willing to patch the kernel sources as they're "ugly hack". As people working on this bug were a few, and the original reporter bought a new pc, the only thing we could do (apart from patching our kernels on our own) is asking for this patch to be committed. My suggestion is for you people to register on bugzilla and comment on this bug.
