Thanks. It seems the kernel itself can't see any external monitor connected. It's also interesting the Nvidia card isn't reporting any display connectors exist. This makes me wonder if the Thunderbolt port is wired to Nvidia instead of Intel. Can you configure that in the BIOS?
It's possible that when it starts working you have just turned on the Nvidia GPU. ** Also affects: nvidia-graphics-drivers-570 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: linux-hwe-6.11 (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => New ** Summary changed: - Failed automatic external monitor detection + Failed automatic external monitor detection via Thunderbolt dock -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2109692 Title: Failed automatic external monitor detection via Thunderbolt dock To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-6.11/+bug/2109692/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
