And for this description: "Then after shutting down I noticed my battery had dropped about 50 percent. Keeping it on the charger it starts the charge icon but then less than a minute it shows not charging and it hovers around 37-38 percent, while my CPU is stating it's at about 90 degrees Celsius but it's defiantly not as my laptop casing is cold to the touch not hot at all."
For the above situation, is the machine shuted down? or is the machine booted up with ubuntu? And when the issue happens in the ubuntu, could you check /sys/class/power_supply/BAT0/capacity, does the capacity value match the one system reports? thx. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2111259 Title: Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS Battery Percentage and CPU Temp Swapped To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-6.11/+bug/2111259/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
