I can't see the desktop itself crashing here. Although if you have so
many .crash files, that suggests a hardware problem like bad RAM.

I can see some USB problems, maybe a faulty USB hub. So if those cause
the mouse to stop working at any point then you could perceive it as a
freeze.

Finally, prevjournal.txt does show the system failing to boot. In this
case please wait a couple of minutes to get past the default timeouts so
we can find out what the problem really was. Then run these again:

  journalctl -b0 > journal.txt
  journalctl -b-1 > prevjournal.txt
