kernel 6.6.63 and below - sound works well over HDMI kernel 6.7.0 and above - no sound over HDMI
The kernels you were trying are from mainline? Could you pst dmesg logs for both? If so, I'll try to check the commits related to NVIDIA hdmi and find the suspicious commits.
