Hi, The above still works after an upgrade to 24.04.
Considering Echoping isn't maintained any more (see https://github.com/bortzmeyer/echoping), it is unlikely it will ever be in the repos again. One should also consider the safety implications of using deprecated software in production, though I understand that this is the only way smokeping will run, and I'm not aware of other software that works as well.
