Public bug reported: I've reported this to NVidia, but I don't think it is just an NVidia issue.
Using Ubuntu's 24.04.2 LTS official 550 drivers, under X11, performance (FPS - frames per second) of my player is 60 FPS at 4K. Under Wayland, performance suffers a drop to 48 FPS at 4K. OpenGL performance is a solid 60 FPS at 4K on both X11 and Wayland. With the latest NVidia drivers on its PPA (570), under X11 and under Wayland, FPS drops to below 30 FPS.
