Hi Andre, changing to /dev/disk/by-path/... is a significant change, which is not planned. For now the only way I think is to ensure that the disk devices are created in the right order, ensuring that they spawn the correct DASD devices. Would it be possible to introduce a check, whether a DASD was created like you expect or not, and react on that accordingly? (IF the devices are enabled always in the same order, and always with a single chzdev cmd, they should create reproducible results.)
