@jchittum I have performed the test on Dell platform by changing power profile through powerprofilectl command, and try to retrieve the platform profile by $ cat /sys/firmware/acpi/platform_profile on 6.11-OEM and 6.14-OEM kernel. It indeed impacts the BIOS setting of ThermalManagement after reboot which can be obtained by $ sudo fwupdmgr get-bios-setting ThermalManagement.
I have to verify if changing it in BIOS POST can also change the setting in PPD. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2115041 Title: Can't recognize custom ACPI platform profile To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/oem-priority/+bug/2115041/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
